Meetings & Events

Stroud Businesswomen’s Network meets twice a month.

Please note that our main meetings are held at Minchinhampton Golf Club New Courses near Hampton Fields GL6 9BE, for full directions click the link.

There are two styles of meeting, our informal Coffee Catch Up – open to all Members and Friends offering a chance to catch up over coffee (!) and our main Members’ Networking Meeting where we regularly welcome inspirational speakers.

Both meetings are held on Thursday mornings. Joining details and other information are emailed in advance.  Please check individual events below to confirm the venue.

Our speakers are from across Gloucestershire and represent a wide range of interests including from the worlds of business, entertainment or charities and community organisations.

We also offer business skills training from top trainers, subsidised for Members. In addition we organise social events, including a summer spectacular and Christmas lunch.

    Members Networking Meeting with Sam Collins

    Sam Collins, Committee Member of SBN and Associate Partner of St. James's Place Wealth Management will give a talk and a Q&A* around Wealth Management and making sure you are doing all you can in the current economic climes. 

    She will talk about the options you have and the value of investment wrappers; how best to save in a tax efficient manner; pensions and how these work for women in this day and age; intergenerational wealth planning; making sure you have protection in place for yourself and your family - including your businesses, and the current market outlook, along with some helpful tips to hopefully help us as a strategy for long term financial stability and security.
