Members Meeting with Chris Mitford-Slade the Canal Project Director of Cotswold Canals Connected

Chris Mitford-Slade is the Project Director for the Cotswold Canals Connected Project. He took over as Project Director in August 2021 and is employed by Stroud District Council. However, he is quick to remind me that he represents all project partners, the key one being the Cotswold Canals Trust.

Chris has had an interesting career with 16 years in the British Army, 20 years in the technology sector including running his own company for 10 years. He brings a wealth of experience to this project and was very much up for the challenge when offered the role.

He will give us an insight into the next steps for the project now that they have been granted planning approval for the Missing Mile. He will also talk about some of the challenges that lie ahead.
