SBN’S FIRST FACE TO FACE (SOCIALLY-DISTANCED!) MEETING SINCE FEBRUARY! BOOK YOUR SPACE EARLY... NUMBERS ARE LIMITED! ZOOM MEETING is also available online for those not attending the Old Lodge.


SBN Members - Bookable event - please book online - first come first served. 


We would like to invite you to join us at the Old Lodge outside in the garden weather permitting for a social gathering.  As we are limited to 24 people, if you book and then CANNOT make it, please let us know asap, as we expect a waiting list.

Working closely with the management at the Old Lodge, you will be welcomed to a reserved area in the garden with six tables. This means we can welcome 24 SBN members in total.


Please note that

  • we have assigned 4 members per garden table to incorporate some social distancing.
  • please go directly to a table.


The Old Lodge would like us to adhere to the following rules

  • not to move tables/benches.
  • no mingling or moving between tables or in other areas of the premises.
  • everyone will have to provide name, contact number and email address for the NHS test and trace.
  • there is toilet access, we just ask that only 2 people enter each toilet space, and to use their common sense with this. There is a one way system organised
  • No approaching the bar please.
  • The tea & coffee station will be served from a table where a member of staff shall pour it to ensure multiple people are not touching it. Guests can queue for this, please take social distancing into account when queuing.
  • Biscuits shall be plated up on plates for guests to take, one plate per person.
  • If people feel unwell or are not comfortable coming, are shielding etc. please do not come.
  • Masks are not required on the premises.

    We will notify registrants of cancellation prior to the meeting in the case of bad weather.

    We do hope to see you there!   


    For those who do wish to stay at home or cannot attend the garden meeting a zoom meeting will be set up and running on the morning of the 30th, it will be open from 8.45am.   Meeting registrants can transfer to the zoom meeting in the case of bad weather.  If the meeting is cancelled we will notify you the day before.
