An email link will be forwarded to members in advance of the day of the meeting. The link will take you to the meeting (or steps to follow to enter the meeting) where you will be held in a virtual waiting room ready for the meeting to start. SBN Meeting format:
Once again we're going to harness the power of the internet and will be having our first virtual CURIO SBN meeting on Zoom, starting at 9.15am on Thursday morning, 9th April 2020.
So, settle down in a comfy chair at 9am, grab your favourite beverage, and follow the simple instructions below to join in. Don't worry, even if you've never done this before, it's easy - and should be fun!

This meeting is currently for Members only due to the nature of the media.
You will be sent an invitation to the meeting with a link in a separate email in the days prior to the meeting.
Using Zoom is free (unless you choose to pay for extra capacity). To access zoom you have a couple of options
- 1. Click on the link to join the meeting and follow the on-screen instructions. Remember to add your name. You may be put into a ‘waiting room’ but you will be given access when the meeting starts.
- 2. Set up a zoom account and follow instructions to find the meeting (this will make your connection faster). Follow instructions on screen including adding your name please.
You can connect from
- 1. PC or laptop with a camera – you should get full functionality. You may need to adjust speaker/mic levels
- 2. Ipad or other tablet – you may have some reduced functionality but not much
- 3. Mobile phone (reduced functionality)
We have test driven them all!
Meeting rules
During the meeting you are asked to be muted unless you are asked to speak. You will automatically be muted when you enter the meeting. It gets very confusing if everyone speaks at once or is making noise eating or drinking for example.
There is a ‘chat’ box which everyone can see and you can write comments in there and request to speak.
It is optional to have your camera on so we can see you - but please do - it is really nice to see all the friendly faces.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday 9th at 9.15am. We will probably wrap up at around 10.30 but let’s see how we go.
