International Women’s Day is 8 March.

Andy Jarrett from The Nelson Trust will talk to us about this charity which supports women in our communities that face multiple disadvantages and complex needs and empower them to make a change in their lives and people in recovery from addiction.

The charity has grown significantly from its formation in Stroud to now support women in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and parts of Wales as well as people from all over the UK in recovery.

His focus will be on the support that the charity offers to women in our community.

Andy will also highlight finding win-wins and working in mutually beneficial partnerships using practical examples and opportunities that are coming up to link with The Nelson Trust to grow your business and increase your wellbeing. There are lots of opportunities to get involved through volunteering, taking part in events, making donations and so much more.
