Inspirational local Speaker Shalize Nicholas of Madia & Matilda

Please register here for this event for catering purposes.

Please note this is a face to face meeting and that the venue is Minchinhampton Golf Club, New Courses, off Hampton Hill GL8 8SB.

Hailed as a pioneer by her peers, Shalize graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University after having the opportunity to work with Mary Katrantzou in Paris, and went on to work as a Freelance  Designer for several brands including Tesco's own F&F collection.   With the launch of Madia & Matilda, based in John Street, in 2013, Shalize began curating her own designs for her own brand and ethically producing unique styles from upcycled and sustainable materials.

Any waste produced by Shalize and her team whilst they're behind the sewing machines is repurposed down to the 'tiniest scrap', into items such as masks and dresses for instance.

Madia & Matilda website can be found here.
