SPACE – THE FINAL FRONTIER?
From Astronauts to Bed Bugs, Council tax to Drones, space is impacting in every part of our day to day lives.
Not only that, but space also has a huge impact on the UK economy.
Our speaker at our May meeting on the 27th, is UK Space Agency's expert on all things space, Emily Gravestock.
Emily will talk about the variety of businesses that she works with in the space sector, the international aspects of space and some of the more unexpected things that space does in your day to day life.
She has been in the UK Space Agency since 2015, and part of the Civil Service since 2007. Her career has been varied, ranging from the taxation of the image rights of footballers to drafting HR policy and now leading Government activities on what we do with space data and services. Her career has been built on where she has felt she can make a difference, and following a career she enjoys.

Please note that you may need to wait for a moment or two in the waiting room before joining and that on occasion we will ask to take a screen shot of our Zoom meeting attendees; you have the option to decline if you so wish.
