Longstanding SBN member Boze Durston is a board member of Young Enterprise Gloucestershire.

At our October meeting we will hear from her colleagues about the work of Young Enterprise. It is UK’s leading enterprise and financial education charity reaching over 250,000 young people every year. Since they were established, over 4 million young people have taken part in Young Enterprise programmes in the UK. One million of these have run businesses for a year on their Company Programme.

Rush Skatepark is an amazing venue and provides a space for all ages from toddlers to the retired to let their hair down on bikes, scooters, blades and skateboards. Since it opened in 2013 it has drawn riders from literally all over the world because it is a world class facility.

The Park was started by Michelle and Jerry Norman. They have won various awards including Gloucestershire small business of the year 2016. We are able to visit this amazing venue, hear about their journey and get an update on what happens next….

Please feel free to bring guests along to the meeting; they attend a free taster of our meetings by just signing in on arrival.

The venue is Rush Skate Park, Brimscombe Port, Stroud GL5 2QQ.  Parking is free.

Coffee will be available from 8.45 am,; business to begin at 9.30 am.
